Benedict Cumberbatch

I can feel infinitely alive curled up on the sofa reading a book.

What dreams may come…

We don’t know what may come alive inside us when we read a book—or learn some bit of information from an encyclopedia, the dictionary, a social media post, a film, or a video. I’m an information wonk and share a wide variety of what I discover—books, law, history—so take a stroll through my posts, check out my videos, and see
what dreams may come.

...what dreams may come...
— Hamlet

Usually, I search for dreams as I read, but I know that, occasionally, we must rest our heads and enjoy those dreams that come when we sleep. In honor of the quest for sleeping dreams, I made a video to keep one company while dropping into slumber. Tap or click the tile/thumbnail and relax to sounds of quiet storms, waterfalls, ocean waves, breezy wind, and the pleasant patter of rain as you watch scenes of snow-covered mountains and rooftops, rain on the tips of autumn leaves, yellow desert sands blowing in the wind, giraffes and zebras on the run, and polar bears romping in the icy wilderness. No voices. Just sounds. Fall asleep, or let the sights and sounds keep you company while you read a good book. | Not intended to be medical advice or cure any illness or disease.
